City walk
Along canals and past city mansions followed by an extensive lunch.

Your enthusiastic guide will take you to the most beautiful canals and famous bridges. Step back in time and explore wonderful historic mansions and intimate city courtyards. Discover the hidden treasures of the historic city. Imagine the life of a patrician family in the Golden Age in Museum Van Loon, one of the finest canal houses in Amsterdam. This double-sized canal house dates from 1672. The first resident was the painter Ferdinand Bol, one of Rembrandt’s most famous pupils. Throughout time, the interior and exterior have remained practically intact and form a fascinating historical monument. Enjoy a special
lunch in de medieval Weight House, which was originally built in 1488 as one of Amsterdam’s city gates.


Networking dinner

For those who are not in a hurry to leave Amsterdam on Tuesday evening a Networking Dinner has been organised. You can meet and mingle with other conference participants. Join dozens of licensing professionals for an evening of net working, food, and information sharing. You will enjoy dinner in first class restaurants within walking distance of the conference hotel. More detailed information and registration will be available at the registration desk during the conference. As this dinner is optional, please confirm your participation on the registration form. Costs: Euro 75,00.

Tourist Information
If you are you planning to spend some time in Amsterdam and its surroundings before or after the conference, the largest information office of Amsterdam Tourism & Convention Board is located in the Noord-Zuid Hollands Koffiehuis, between the Amsterdam Central Station and the NH Barbizon Palace Hotel. The office also has an Internet facility for visitors to look up general information themselves. The opening hours are each day from 9 am to 5 pm. Other offices of the Amsterdam Tourism & Convention Board are located at Schiphol (Arrival hall 2) and Leidseplein-Stadhouderskade.
